2nd French Vintage Mountain Bike Trophy

The second edition of the Trophée de France de VTT Vintage in Ramatuelle.

Mountain bikers from the early days, former competitors, champions, collectors... but also young mountain bikers who only knew the 29" and disc brakes, come and relive the myth of the gatherings of the first decades of mountain biking every 1st weekend of October in Ramatuelle, and reawaken forgotten sensations by getting on a vintage mountain bike. Dare to ride differently, without the assistance of modern technology.
Taking part in the Trophée de France VTT Vintage is a unique and unforgettable experience. The Trophée de France VTT Vintage is an unofficial challenge that takes the form of a fun and friendly ride, punctuated by three events (XC DH and Trials) to be completed on a single vintage mountain bike equipped with up to 26" wheels. This second edition, organized by the Génération Mountain Bike association, will take place on October 4 and 5 from our base camp, the legendary Vacances Léo Lagrange "Le Jardin des Pins", scene of the 1st editions of the Roc d'Azur.

- WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
- Randonnée et Trophée de France de France VTT Vintage: All participants must abide by the event regulations. There are no refreshments on the course, and participants must be self-sufficient in water and food. As for mechanics, participants must bring the tools they need to repair their mountain bikes (pump, chamber, multi-tool, chain drift, etc.). Possibility of refueling and bike mechanics in the paddock at the center during the lunch break.
- French Hall of Fame ceremony and Podium: This ceremony will celebrate and induct personalities who have developed mountain biking in France. It will take place on Saturday evening from 9.30pm at the amphitheatre of Vacances Léo Lagrange "Le Jardin des Pins". Rankings and podiums will be announced at the same time.

- Vintage MTB Expo: A "free" exhibition area will be set aside on Sunday morning from 9am to noon. For those wishing to exhibit, please let us know the models and number of machines you wish to bring along. This year, "Swiss mountain bikes" will have a special place of honour, with a corner featuring brands such as Ferraroli, S-Bike, Cilo, Scott...

- Vintage equipment market: A "free" market will enable participants to trade, buy or sell Vintage equipment. This market will take place in the exhibition area. This year, the association Génération Mountain Bike will be reselling all the issues of our partner's magazine Vélo Vert that we have left over.

5pm to 8pm: First participants welcome & mountain bikes checked at Vacances Léo Lagrange " Le Jardin des Pins ".
- Saturday, October 4th 2025
8am to 9:30am: ATV inspection and briefing at Vacances Léo Lagrange " Le Jardin des Pins ".
10am to 12pm: Start of Vintage MTB Loop 1 and X-Country race
12pm to 1:30pm: Return to the center for the cold buffet (refuelling and mechanics authorized in the paddock)
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Start of Vintage Loop 2 and Downhill race
4 p.m.: Return to the center and Trial event
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Free time: exchanges, swimming...
7pm to 8pm: Aperitif hosted by Ramatuelle town hall
9.30pm: Podium and Ceremony of the French Hall of Fame(s) at the Léo Lagrange "Le Jardin des Pins" vacation amphitheatre

Bike room: A bike room is available for overnight storage. Each participant is responsible for the surveillance of his or her equipment during the event, and must provide security systems (anti-theft, alarm, GPS tracker, etc.) to prevent theft.
