Chéri Chéri: seventies rock and glamour
Chéri Chéri is a Franco-American rock band with an electric, collective energy, driven by riffs inherited from the 70s. The project was born in 2023, when singer Célia Marie Chéri launched an impromptu audition in Paris, announced on the networks. The initiative will bring together five musicians: Célia Marie (vocals), Valentine (guitar), Elise (bass), Titouan (drums) and Thomas Lacaze, (guitarist) and native Tropezian. Their music and glamorous looks are imbued with a contemporary, feminine stage presence.
Chéri Chéri was on the Reconnexion 2025 program, but a storm made their performance impossible. We invited them back to play in one of the world's most natural settings: the Escalet beach!

Heavychest: musicians from Aotearoa (New Zealand) (dream pop)
This winter, the members of Chéri Chéri crossed paths with Heavychest (Andre Smith) and shared a stage with the musician while he was in residence at Méribel.
Heavychest is the musical project founded in 2015 by New Zealand songwriter André Smith. Since the release of his debut album "Preheat" in 2017, he has been exploring many different avenues and performing solo, as he travels. In 2025, Heavychest was invited on a musical residency in the Alps, where he produced his latest album "Ascend", a collection of songs blending introspective narratives and indie folk. His residency was followed by a series of concerts across Europe and the UK, including a long tour as support act for New Zealand band Mild Orange, which brought him back home, before he headed abroad again via Ramatuelle!
