With his new concept Vidéochose, artist JACQUES promises "an unprecedented tasting of sound and light"! His visit to the Théâtre de Verdure will be a landmark one, just as he delighted the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris last January, selling out twice over. Her album "L'importance du vide" was released in 2022, followed by "L'importance du vide 2.0" in 2024: so enjoy it on all platforms until July 9!
The duo ARCHIL & LEON, who suggested we invite JACQUES, will open the show. After "Blooming", a five-track debut EP released in 2022, the experimental electro-pop duo have just launched the single "Wild Child" as a foretaste of their second opus entitled "Pisces", due on platforms on June 7 via Zuma Music.

ARCHIL & LEON are a pair of singer-songwriters. "Two sensitive, intuitive beings, a lunar duo who had everything they needed to be on the same wavelength from day one. Born under the sign of Pisces, ARCHIL, aka Adrien Liétar and LEON, aka robin Betelu, met in Paris ten years ago.

Adrien grew up in Plan de la Tour. He launched his electro-pop project (ARCHIL) in Paris. Soon Robin (Leon) joined him on stage on drums. They compose together and create ARCHIL & LEON in 2020, releasing their 1st Ep "Blooming" in 2022. The 2nd, "Pisces", is released in June 2024. Adrien composes and invents instruments in his studio in Plan de la Tour, where he now lives.
Robin, drummer and composer, son of a family of musicians, was surrounded by music from an early age, and began playing drums at the age of 7. He went on to study jazz drums at the Dijon Conservatoire, and soon began composing for himself, for choreographic and stage projects, and creating music for videos and commercial teasers for major brands. In addition to releasing their own titles, the duo he forms with Adrien, their complicity and complementarity, enables them to pursue and share the adventure on stage.

Through his astonishing lifestyle and unfiltered lyrics, Jacques has established himself as a singular artist who provokes reflection, perplexity, disgust and/or adoration.
While many may remember his unusual hairstyle, it's his ability to constantly reinvent himself that makes him so recognizable.
Between his Victoires de la Musique nomination, his Vortex theory and his carefully disorganized sound experiments, Jacques is a free artist who sails through the challenges he sets himself.
For his new live show, he now has fun cutting up, looping and setting to music short extracts from films, documentaries, YouTube videos or even videos from his everyday life. Alongside his objects, rockets that take off, barking dogs and crying babies become his new musical instruments... Jacques once again pushes his own limits to offer us a concert that is both noisy and danceable, where sound and image interact live.
