Lacustrian town of Port Grimaud
Historic site and monument ( Outstanding contemporary architecture ) - Grimaud
This lakeside town is a magnificent example of successful architecture, and a firm favourite with visitors.
A place like no other, it's a must-see in our municipality.
A little gem not to be missed!
All year round, daily.
Port Grimaud is one of the key ports on the French Riviera. It is in fact the French Riviera’s biggest marina. Visitors find themselves immersed in a blend of Venice and Provence, between canals, bridges and boats moored alongside the houses...
The ambiance is warm and full of colour. What a pleasure it is to wander here, especially on market day, which is a great time to shop.
When visiting Port Grimaud, don’t forget to take a ride on an electric barge or a ‘coche d’eau’, a vessel inspired by the old horse-drawn boats! With this ‘green’ mode of travel, you’ll be able to see more of the lakeside town from a different perspective!
