The Grand Rendez-Vous of the National Park in Ramatuelle

The Parc national de Port-Cros and the commune of Ramatuelle are teaming up for an exceptional day: "Le Grand Rendez-Vous du Parc national à Ramatuelle" on May 31, 2025, to discover the richness and fragility of this exceptional territory.
Saturday 31 May 2025 between 10 am and 10 pm.
This free one-day event for the general public explores the remarkable biodiversity of the commune of Ramatuelle and the National Park.
At Cap Taillat :
- 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Nature walk "Le Cap Taillat" with the association Chercheurs en herbe: A seaside excursion to discover the biodiversity and admire the landscapes of the Ramatuelle coastline, from l'Escalet to Cap Taillat. Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, good shoes and water! (Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Escalet dirt parking lot - Register with Ramatuelle OTC - Free).
At the Moulin de Paillas :
- 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.: Outdoor yoga with Cha Anahata: "breathing with nature". Awakening the senses, calming the mind pranayama (breathing), gentle awakening of the body, dynamic flow and anchoring, return to calm and relaxation. (Meet at the Moulin de Paillas - On registration with Ramatuelle OTC - Floor mats provided / Water not provided - Free).
- 11:00 am - 11:30 am: Outdoor yoga with Cha Anahata: "Strength and Rootedness". Pranayama (breathing) centering, dynamic warm-up, powerful flow, return to calm and relaxation. (Meet at Moulin de Paillas - On registration with Ramatuelle OTC - Mats provided / Water not provided - Free).
- 10-10.45am: Outdoor yoga for children with Asya . A moment of calm and play in the heart of nature. This workshop introduces children to yoga through playful postures, short stories, breath games and concentration. A great opportunity to move, breathe and have fun in a magical setting at the summit of Ramatuelle. (Meet at the Moulin de Paillas - On registration with the Ramatuelle OTC - Floor mats provided / Water not provided - Free).
- 10h-10h45: Yoga for adults outdoors with Asya . A time for yourself, in the heart of nature. This workshop, accessible to all, offers a gentle, rejuvenating yoga practice focusing on breathing, body awareness and relaxation. (Meet at the Moulin de Paillas - Please register with the OTC Ramatuelle - Mats provided / Water not provided - Free).
- 2.30 pm - 3.45 pm and 4 pm - 4.45 pm: Nature walk "in the footsteps of the mills" with the association Chercheurs en Herbe: Easy excursion around the mills and into the forest to discover Ramatuelle's natural and cultural heritage and admire its landscapes. Don't forget your hat, glasses, good shoes and water! (Meet at the Moulin de Paillas - Register with the Ramatuelle OTC - Free).
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Donkey rides for children with the Tis'Ânes association (Meet at the Moulin de Paillas - No reservation required, but you may be given a waiting ticket on arrival - Free - Departure every 15 min. - Activity reserved for children up to 12 years or 40 kg - Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the ride).
On Place de l'Ormeau :
- 10am - 1pm and 3pm - 5pm: Bioacoustics workshop with the Naturoscope association: Acoustic quiz on Mediterranean marine species - Experiment to explain echolocation. Explanation of noise pollution and listening to a yachting recording. (Free).
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Escape Game "Découverte des îles d'or" with the association Planète Science Méditerranée: Immersive educational game that raises participants' awareness of the environmental challenges facing the Mediterranean and the Parc National de Port Cros. Through practical riddles, players must solve puzzles linked to ecosystems, marine waste and species conservation. (Continuous 30-minute sessions - Free).
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Tuk-tuk of the Parc National de Port Cros eco-guides: Workshops and games to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the Parc National de Port-Cros.
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Creative workshop "Ma tortue caouanne en argile" with Béatrice Balguérie: T comme tortue Caouanne Did you know that on our French shores and in the Mediterranean Sea live Caouanne turtles? Sometimes, during the egg-laying season, they even come to lay their precious eggs in the sand on our beaches. If by chance you happen to see one, please be as discreet as possible and don't disturb it. In this pottery workshop, you'll discover the characteristics of these magnificent creatures of our oceans (Free).
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: "Moulage d'empreintes d'animaux sauvages de notre région" creative workshop: Discover the tracks left by the animals of our forests and learn to recognize them thanks to a fun workshop accessible to all! Using real fox, wild boar, deer or badger footprints, you'll make your own plaster cast before painting it to reveal all the details. This captivating activity will allow you to take home your own print, while learning a simple method that can be reproduced on your walks and hikes. ( Free - This workshop is open to everyone aged 6/8 and over - Children accompanied).
At the Garage showroom:
- 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Biodiversity Fresco by Christine Bourru - naturalist guide: Collaborative, fun and scientific workshop to discover biodiversity, the pressures it faces and the consequences of its erosion. The aim is to think collectively about the actions we could take to preserve it. (Ages 14 and over - Registration required at the Ramatuelle OTC - Free).
At Espace culturel Albert-Raphaël :
- 7.45pm: "Loggerhead turtle" stand with eco-guides from the Parc national de Port-Cros
- 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm: Screening of the film "Dauphins, regards d'humains" ("Dolphins, human views")
All these activities will help you discover the diversity of the natural and cultural heritage of Ramatuelle, a member of the Parc national de Port-Cros.
