Ramatuelle Un amour de village

Winter After Beach News: the "Riomatuelle" carnival

Commercial event / Entertainment/recreation ( Carnival ) - Ramatuelle

Live samba, food, bar, costumes and carnival: get ready!

Saturday 21 February 2026 between 11 am and 4 pm.
With a possible postponement of the event to Sunday, February 21st in case of bad weather.

In Brazil, February is sacred. The entire country takes to the streets to express collective joy, optimism, and freedom, blending music, dance, extravagant costumes, and grand parades. It's an intangible shared heritage where Brazilians celebrate cultural diversity, strengthen social bonds, and even express social or political demands through satire!

Freedom in all its forms, which we like to describe as:

"the sweet fever of Santa Teresa"
COSTUMES: We invite you to dress up WITH COLOR!
RODA: A roda is a party where musicians play facing each other while you, the audience, dance around them in an explosion of samba, human warmth, and sunny rhythms that grab your hips. On stage: WALLACE NEGAO and his TRIO, this Brazilian guru who teleports you to the heart of the blocos with his catchy "chaleuuurs," "hopaaa," and even… "the fox and the weasel."
FEIJOADA AND CAMELÔS, FOOD SIDE
If Carnival is THE people's festival, feijoada is its culinary namesake: IT'S BRAZIL'S MOST POPULAR DISH!

A stew made with pork and black beans, once eaten by slaves, it has now become an essential pillar of Brazilian cuisine.

Equally essential: the camelós, who roam with their small barbecues on the beaches, in the streets, in the city, in the countryside… EVERYWHERE!

On the menu, you'll find, among other things, skewers of shrimp, meat, and queijo coalho, a grilled cheese that squeaks slightly when you bite into it. THE BAR: beer, wine, soft drinks, and the unmissable caipirinha.

Surprises will be added to this program, such as a costume contest, and many more to discover by following the After Beach Instagram page: @afterbeachalahalle
