- The author
Born in 1992, Robin Watine grew up in La Croix Valmer and now lives in Paris. Je rouille, published by Calmann-Lévy in August 2025, is his first novel.
- In the words of the publisher
"Like every summer, tourists flock to the coast somewhere in the south of France. And Noé navigates between his friends, always the same ones, and the beach restaurant where he works for his father. Like every summer, Noé is waiting for just one thing: to find Léna. Léna is Parisian, charismatic, cultured... She glows while Noé is lost in his uncertainties...
Je rouille depicts an incandescent love that is both unique and disturbing...".
